The Catnic CG90/100 is a standard-duty steel cavity lintel for 90–105mm cavities and 100–115mm inner leaves. Its open-back profile incorporates continuous insulation and an integral plaster key, and it is suitable for standard cavity wall openings including fair-faced inner leaf masonry. Catnic's built-in DPC profile applies to most lengths; CG90/100 lintels from 750–1500mm require a separate DPC.
The lintel profile helps manage moisture within the cavity. A separate DPC is required for CG90/100 lengths from 750–1500mm.
Integral plaster key on the inner flange helps with finishing.
Continuous insulation within the lintel helps minimise thermal bridging.
Suitable for installations where a fair-faced inner leaf masonry finish is required.
Designed for standard-duty cavity wall applications including uniformly distributed masonry, timber floor and roof loads.
Galvanised and powder-coated steel construction provides Catnic's Duplex corrosion protection.

The Catnic CG90/100 is designed for cavity walls with a 90–105mm cavity and a 100–115mm inner leaf. It is a standard-duty lintel suitable for uniformly distributed masonry loads, timber floor and roof loads, and installations requiring fair-faced inner leaf masonry.
Catnic specifies nominal 150mm end bearings. The required lintel length should therefore be selected from the structural opening and the required bearing at each end. Reduced bearings should only be used where specifically approved for the installation.
The open-back profile allows masonry to be built continuously on the inner and outer leaves, while continuous insulation helps reduce thermal bridging.
Safe working load varies according to lintel length. Catnic publishes the following values for the CG90/100:
| Lintel length | Safe working load |
|---|---|
| 750–1500mm | 15kN |
| 1650–1800mm | 18kN |
| 1950–2100mm | 20kN |
| 2250–2400mm | 22kN |
| 2550–2700mm | 26kN |
| 2850–3600mm | 26kN |
The CG90/100 is designed for 90–105mm cavities with a 100–115mm inner leaf.
Catnic specifies nominal 150mm end bearings for the CG90/100, so the required lintel length is normally determined from the structural opening plus the required bearing at each end. Reduced bearings should only be used where specifically approved for the installation.
CG90/100 lintels from 750–1500mm require a separate DPC. For other lengths, the lintel incorporates Catnic's built-in DPC profile, subject to the installation and exposure requirements specified by Catnic.
