When to Use DT275 Wall Ties

DT275 wall ties are typically used where the cavity width is between 125mm and 150mm and the specification calls for a Type 2 general-purpose wall tie. They are a higher-duty option than Type 4 housing ties and are used where the wall design, building height or exposure conditions require the appropriate Type 2 product.

If your cavity is 75–100mm, a 225mm wall tie may be required. If your cavity is 100–125mm, a 250mm wall tie may be more suitable. Always check the stated cavity range before ordering.
