Catnic CGE90/100 Standard Duty Cavity Lintel — Open Back Profile

The Catnic CGE90/100 is a standard duty steel cavity lintel with an open-back profile and built-in DPC, designed for use in cavity wall construction with a 90–125mm cavity, 100–115mm inner leaf, and 190–235mm overall wall width. Available in length 1200mm, it suits a wide range of standard domestic and light commercial openings.

All Catnic steel lintels are hot-dip galvanised for superior corrosion resistance, then finished with a powder-coat paint layer for added protection — giving the range its distinctive black appearance.

Structural Performance

The CGE90/100 carries a 15 kN safe working load for lengths from 900mm to 1500mm, rising to 26 kN at the maximum 3600mm length. Lintel height increases from 90mm to 224mm as span increases. All SWL figures are based on total UDL over maximum span with 150mm bearing at each end.
