The polythene sleeve provides product identification and protection from the elements and should be left in place during installation. ARC states that the sleeve does not add to the product's performance.
The current ARC data sheet gives CSS125 a 4-hour masonry fire integrity rating, 15-minute insulation performance and 10mm compression requirement.
