Heavy-duty horizontal restraint strap for tying masonry to floor or roof structures and providing structural restraint where specified. The 150mm pre-formed bend provides a longer return for restraint details requiring a 150mm bend.

Specified Fixings & Installation

Use 4 × 75mm round wire nails through the 6mm fixing holes. For bent installation, build the strap into the wall with the downstand tight against the face of the block.

For floor fixing, install across three joists, perpendicular to the joists, with noggins between them. Use one fixing per joist and one fixing per noggin, five fixings in total. Follow the specified restraint detail rather than substituting a different strap configuration.
