The Naylor ER3 Economy concrete lintel has a 140 × 65mm section and is designed for suitable masonry openings, particularly in plastered situations. Its textured, extruded concrete finish is intended to be covered rather than left as an exposed decorative surface. Naylor declares 30 minutes of fire resistance for the ER3 and publishes load-bearing data for standard lengths from 900mm to 3000mm. Choose the length to suit the opening, required end bearings and design loads, and check the manufacturer's technical information before specifying.
A practical concrete lintel for suitable masonry openings where its declared performance meets the project requirements.
A 140mm-wide by 65mm-deep profile for compatible wall construction in the intended orientation.
Naylor's Declaration of Performance lists 30 minutes of fire resistance for the ER3.
The extruded finish is normally intended for plastered situations rather than exposed decorative applications.
Part of Naylor's precast concrete lintel range for suitable wall and partition openings.
This Wade listing offers 15 length options, while Naylor's published load table covers selected standard lengths.
The ER3 is intended for suitable openings in walls and partitions where the span, masonry arrangement and imposed loads fall within its declared performance. Its textured concrete finish is normally covered by plaster or render.
Before selecting the lintel, check the clear span, required end bearings, supporting masonry and loads above the opening. The lintel must be installed in the orientation and support arrangement specified by Naylor for the intended application.
