The Catnic CG110/100 Standard Duty Cavity Wall Lintel is designed for masonry cavity walls with a 110–125mm cavity, a 100–115mm inner leaf and a 100–102mm outer leaf. Its open-back steel profile allows masonry to be built up on both leaves, while continuous insulation, an integral plaster key and a built-in DPC provide practical construction benefits. We offer 15 lengths from 750mm to 3600mm, with Catnic's published safe working loads ranging from 15kN to 26kN across the documented sizes.

Where to use a Catnic CG110/100 lintel
The CG110/100 is designed for standard duty masonry cavity walls with a 110–125mm cavity. It can support typical masonry loads and specified timber floor and roof loads where these fall within the selected lintel's published loading capacity.
The open-back profile allows both masonry leaves to be built up continuously and is suitable for fair-faced inner leaf masonry.
Choosing the correct CG110/100 length
Catnic's loading figures use nominal 150mm end bearings at each end. The required lintel length is therefore normally determined by adding 300mm to the clear structural opening width.
For example, a 1200mm structural opening would normally require a 1500mm lintel to provide 150mm bearing on either side. The selected length must also provide sufficient safe working load for the construction above.
Installation considerations
Check the cavity width, masonry leaf dimensions and supporting wall construction before installing the lintel. Follow Catnic's current installation guidance and the project structural design, including any temporary propping and additional damp-proofing requirements.
