When you can’t get the swing going in a corner or other awkward spot, a scaffold ratchet spanner is likely the only way to get a fitting run up at speed. A ratchet spanner can still swing out in the open, but be gentle, and try not to use a hammer on it when the nuts have stiffened up over time. It may be tough, but as with everything, there are limits!
