The Work Access Platform with Opening Gate IAP-8 is a portable elevated work platform for tradespeople and maintenance teams, delivering safe access for inspections and servicing tasks at height.

Manufactured in accordance with HSE PM28 4th Edition, the unit emphasises practical handling and robust safety features on site.

  • Automatic locking and unlocking gates (IAP-7 & 8)
  • Hinge back guard for ease of transportation and storage
  • Safety harness attachment rings
  • Self-draining non-slip floor
  • Zinc plated heel pins for safe attachment to truck
  • Maximum fork section 150 x 50 mm at 525 centres
  • Painted bright orange for safety

Ideal for roofing maintenance, plant inspections, facade surveys and mezzanine work where a defined, safe working platform is required. The IAP-8 provides a self-contained site workspace with guard gates and attachment points for harnesses, supporting a controlled access solution on uneven or confined sites.

Compared with traditional methods such as ladders or scaffolds, this platform offers a stable elevated area with a self-draining floor and a locking gate to help manage access at height.
