View full detailsFor long-lasting boundary works use our range of concrete fence posts. Made by concrete lintel specialists, Naylor, they are a reliable combination of concrete quality and expertise.
The end, corner and intermediate posts, combined with our gravel boards are made to last and are ideal for pairing with our fence panels.
Concrete posts won’t rot and don’t need clips, brackets, or other fixing when it comes to fitting fence panels, simply slip them into the post slots. The gravel boards can help retain ground and add rigidity to the fence line.
Use Post Fast concrete mix to set the posts in the ground for a speedy finish.
If you need timber fence posts there is a choice between 3-inch and 4-inch Tanalith-E treated timber posts (75mm and 100mm) available in either green or brown. Set them in the ground with the Post Fast mix, drive in post spikes, or bolt them down to a masonry or concrete base.
Post spikes make for a rapid fence build with a four-flange 600mm spike that is treated against rust and is designed to hold the timber post up out of the ground, creating a gap that will protect the timber from excessive exposure to water.
Both the spike and the bolt-down shoe feature a bolt-tightening connection that grips the fence post securely, making for a positive connection between post and foundation.
The sleeper selection comes in 2.4m and 1.2m, green and brown finish, treated with Tanalith-E, which binds with the timber on a molecular level, giving outstanding rot protection. The sleepers are 200mm x 100mm and are premium softwood, which makes them lighter and easier to handle than hardwood.
However, there is the option to order oak sleepers, similarly treated, but also stronger and heavier, ideal for steps or retaining walls.
For the pre-aged, rustic effect, there is often a supply of weathered-look sleepers that have additional characterful elements, to give that been here forever feel. They will have splits, knots, bows, and indents. Call us to find out what’s available.
Our decking boards are hand-checked for quality before dispatch so we can be certain that you will be happy when they arrive at your job. All our decking is 125mm x 32mm and comes in three lengths, 3.6m, 4.2m, and 4.8m.
